Acutally, this car was designed off the Opel Omega B plateform. so really you do have the car over there.. just a smaller sized, shitter versions since a lot of Development was done by Holden Australia to make it last Australian Conditions.

Acutally the Monaro Concept car had this front bar on it.. as well is it is possible for me to get a Manaro Front bar and lights and put them on mine, now that would be fucking sexy

I don't actually like the 307 It's not nice looking, not especially rewarding to drive nor does it offer good performance or economy. Also it's riddled with electric problems  I hope your one goes fine, matey cos repairs on them are relatively expensive. A mate of my dads was almost crying when the Peugeot dealer repair bill came back along with his then 1 year old 307 SW 


Also Eug - the Peugeots you want to drive are just a few: 405 MI16, 306 GTI-6, 205 GTI 1.9, 406 2.2 SRI or a 2.0 Tubby and a 406 V6, possibly a coupe. When you compare them to all of their rivals in the chassis departament they make absolutely everything else look funny and built from a Lego kit. Shame they no longer make the best "normal-to-cheap-car" chassis set-ups.


On the other hand, French diesels are definitely the way to go if you're new in diesel driving - Unbeatable smoothness, massive wallops of torque everywhere even up to 4.5k on some HDIs and the simplicity of the onboard computers allowing you to de-FAP (FAP is DPF - Diesel Particulate Filter in French) and do all kinds of other similar mods. The economy even on the older, npn common rail diesels is astonishing and on the HDIs it's a bloody joke considering how well behaved and torquey they are.

And back to real motors.. about time as well. Nothing is as comfy as big, plush French armchairs in a big, plush, French car  My kinda sight-seeing - park up, enjoy, drive off without the wind blowing in yer face!
