Ok, so I re-installed GTA:SA on to a new directory because it had problems loading the game up. Well, now it says "Program too big to fit memory", and doesn't load. I have 3.5 GB RAM. What the flying fuck.

This is what i think the problem is:

- The GTA installation is somehow corrupt

- You have processes sucking up your computer resources

- You may have enough room but your DOS has not recognized that it can use all of the memory.

- Computer virus (If you have an anti virus scan your computer if all else fails!)

Restart your PC and try again.

Doesn't help.

- The GTA installation is somehow corrupt
- You have processes sucking up your computer resources
- You may have enough room but your DOS has not recognized that it can use all of the memory.
- Computer virus (If you have an anti virus scan your computer if all else fails!)

1.) Possible.
2.) Doubt it.
3.) I don't know about this one.
4.) Possible.

Remove all the GTA San Andreas files, from the Program Files and from your Own Documents, then try to install.

Check under task manager to make sure that enough ram is available.

Other then that, it could be your corrupted install.

Well, I re-installed the game for the fifteenth time. Now I'm back to the old problem: when I try to connect to a server, a window pops up saying "gta_sa.exe has stopped working" and refuses to launch.

Sounds like a virus. Something is preventing your game from executing properly.

Changed the gta_sa.exe and the samp.exe into compatibility mode?
