Taxi Fares

I think Taxis should have a better system in terms of collecting money.

It should be like this:
Person Enters the car
The act the directions
During the Travel
you do
/c Setfares 500

<Your Fare have been set to 500.>

When the person exits the taxi They automatically get taxed

Sure sounds good that players will not just use free rides when others are trying to work for their living

I'm not so big of this idea.
In a lot of cases a script can limit RP situations....
There can be situations where the customer may not want to pay the driver....or what if, the driver is a kidnapper?

Then Let the Taxi Driver RP with you and don't price it,I understand what you mean,but you have to understand that Everyone Will do that.When your a taxi how often do players pay you?

what if the taxi driver is a total dumbass, and he does /c setfares 10000?
i guess that for it to be fixed (if the idea will be accepted and added to the scripts) there should be a limit, like 1k maybe?

That's what I was thinking when reading. Let's guess the taxi driver is kinda "cheater" and sets the far highly, making the person pay a lot? That person can't say / do anything. As it is now, the person can talk to the driver when asked for money. If the idea succeed, the taxi driver can even run or something.. I don't know. Maybe we can have a try ? After all, the server hasn't a lot of taxi drivers..

the driver does /c setfare 10000, and if the passanger doesnt wants to pay that much, theres gonna be added an /c acceptfare, or /c denyfare, or something like that.
so if he wants to pay alot and doesnt minds, he can say yes, but if the driver wants to get payed alot, and the passanger doesnt wants to pay that much or disagrees on the fare, he can deny the fare, untill another fare suggestion is set. good idea?

You mean when the Taxi Driver arrives to the spot the passenger says Thank you but I'm not paying cya?  :poke:

I've changed my mind, as I'm reading, it's complicated.. best would be to leave it as it is, when the fares will be settable, newbies taking taxi.. they won't have money and the taxi drivers will spam and report them bla bla, I mean we don't need the complaining....

People.If it is a new player the taxi driver can simply Don't set the fare.Mind you /c setfare is for each Ride.

Setfare can be limited like to 1k.<Reason being that it is very hard to get a taxi in VCMP>

yea, but the passanger should be able to accept the fare or make the driver change it.
for example, if the passanger called a taxi to get him to to the malibu from the police dapartment, and the driver sets the fare to 1k, and the passanger thinks it should be 500, the passanger will first get a messege like "the fare will be 1k", and the passanger doesnt wants it 1k, he does like /c denyfare, and the driver gets a "the passanger denyis the fare you set", so the driver will have to set the fare to 500, or something else that they will both be happy, so if the driver will then set it to 500, and the passanger will want it to be like that he will do /c acceptfare.

No Person would do a Accept Fare...It should be a must.It would be like.
For Example.A medic goes to heal a person.The person is healed and then they have to do a cmd to do /c accept the money.No one would accept the money.So the best way is to make it a must.,
