I can answer you why those who WERE a good players here turn against Argonath vision later...
Its simple - they are changing... Argonath does not change... The roleplay which is now the several levels HIGHER then the roleplay the same Carhartt met here when he just registered on server...
But that time there were no moaners...

Now you moan about everything... I also know the reason of that...
You were never server owners (if were and still here then you were not succeeded) to understand and to know what is the community of players from 12 to 50...

Let me introduce you some stuff...

1. GIVE US MORE CIVILIAN JOBS!
There were... And most of YOU all, mein lieben zomg roleplayers, did not even get any of it... We supported several ideas and implemented it into RS2 script... There WERE jobs... For example I was getting a lot of crying moaning about truck missions/jobs... I heard a lot... Players were swearing they will be goddamn happy with it... They created a special truck company... The script was for THEM, for YOU... And what? Who used this job in past? None of you, company was already "closed", and... Guess what...

You, mein lieben zomg roleplayers, started f**king moaning about difficulties to upload stocks to shops... Cos for that you, mein lieben zomg roleplayers, needed to hire some truck driver, or to go find a truck yourself, to drive the hell over San Andreas after trailer, to drive it back with no problems... Appeared a topic "Truck missions are not a real life roleplay!"

BTW the one who actually used the truck and trailer was Nitr0x_Stracci, whom most of you hate and call "deathmatcher" and surely moan on... He just asked me how it works and without crying Stracci delivered their stock from docks...

This is only one example of what was before...

You want jobs/missions... Scripters even here decided to answer you with positive and?.. Argonath is slowly changing into the single player mod... Take a personality, go to mission, remove fire, get money, enjoy... THIS you call that zomg leet roleplay? Which jobs you want from us in a GTA MULTIPLAYER? What you want to be scripted? And why the f**k you cannot roleplay it youself? Without server forsing you to do it?

2. Why do owners not support you, mein lieben zomg roleplayers?

Because you want everyone on server play the game in the way YOU want... Did you listen or tried to understand others position on server? F**king no... There are 100 players on server... And all should be like dumbs with GPS navigation? 100 players = 100 opinions...

100 opinions... And what I see? Here are sitting 5-6 opinions and DEMAND the server work THEIR way of wishes...

3. Argonath changed?

Yes... Appeared single-mod styled missions (Players started playing with themselves), zomg leet roleplayers already f**ked up all atmosphere on server with their crying and screaming...
Once they started reporting players, it went as a wave... Becoming bigger and bigger...

I was lol-ed when I saw some of YOURs reports to admins...
"Here is a new guy just entered in LS airport and he dming me with the fists"...

What kind of hell you forgot there in the spawn place of new players? Reporting them about not knowing the rules?

Weren't that YOU, mein lieben zomg roleplayers, who demanded to show the rules in the start of server? And what? Is that for going to airport and reporting the newbie about him not following the rules?

I could continue this list of all things moaners pissed me of... But it will take a lot of my time...
I am probably the last standing developer/owner, who still wastes time on trying to explain our positions... But it is cos I already had a rest from server, which became be just awful from moaning, and now I am back with normal positive... Which can turn into negative after getting it (negative) from you, mein lieben zomg roleplayers...

Aragorn....man.....i am ashamed of myself if i dissapoint you guys as server owners or even a fellow community member. I come here to roleplay in anyway shape or form with friends. I myself am very grateful that the server owners provide me with a decent server to reside in. I also am grateful that i have been able to meet so many good people. I honestly think people need to realize this community is to have fun, not force things on other people or think they are the best. We as community members must realize that playing on Argonath, which is kept going by the Developers, is a privilege not a right and must respect that and cherish it day by day.

Bring them Potatoes Trobby, im Irish anyway  , i can cook up some mean Fried Potatoes and some great Baked Potatoes.

Who do you mean by US? I, myself, do accept them other styles, which is completely right to me. I used to teach several players to become good roleplayers. Some of the persons I named in my previous post are some quite good teachers. Let me take Malcolm the admin for example, It was me and him roleplaying together back in 08', I helped him with his roleplay. Take Diddeh as another example, which I thaught like a half year ago. Look at him now.

WE do not claim that everyone should roleplay as us, everyone is different. But as you, Aragorn, hate our type of roleplay, for some particular reason, because it's not in "the Vision", I simply don't get it.
Some people might be like this, I have seriously no clue, because I can't be arsed talking to people who can't accept other types of roleplay. If the world's roleplay would be that plain, I wouldn't even enter GTA. If you look at it the oposite side, I've seen several times when the Conservative super squad are like "OMG HE CAME TO ME AND DID THESE BRACKETS I WAS LOL'ING AND WALKED AWAY THEN I SHOT HIM CUZZ HE COOL". But yeah, we get the bullshit about that we do not accept other ways of roleplay. Vince and Pancher are two few examples of good roleplayers, who is highly respected by me for their politeness and roleplay.
Like I stated, there are other ways of roleplay, but these days, these other ways is barely roleplay no more. It's hardly seen by the players.

Another thing. Lets continue with this moaning part, like everyone has an issue with.
If there's so much moaning about these stuff, about just these things, who everybody just hate, whines and cries about. Why not look over it? It might be a time for a change?
It's not the 06' anymore, neither is it the same players. Lets try without orange names, try without "knowing" the guys name above the head.

"Argonath will remain the same" - Yeah, it might will, but the players who really enjoyed it ain't here anymore. The SAMP Community/Roleplay is about to change drastically, if people can't realize this, then damn.. I'm very sorry for you. We have these players, who WANT Argonath to be as it is, but they're the minority. Also, they do not r o l e p l a y, they do not give a damn about roleplaying.
It's all about this chatting and events who makes them enter the server. But when I started this server in 07' or something, I was here for the roleplay. For the atmosphere around it, when it all started up good. I've convinced myself like "It's going to change, I know it, it is going".
But I've finally realized that.. YOU do not want to change, because you're to afraid to see the fact and the truth about it all.

"Do not force roleplay" - Here comes my favorite. I really love this statement.
Forcing roleplay aka Powergaming - is BAD, becuase that's another vision, but then you'd look at it and say "Hey, isn't it the same thing as "Do not force roleplay". Well, f**king yes, it is.
Maybe not to hundred, but it gives the same message. Then we have this wonderful command, which I highly love. "/su". "Forcing roleplay IS NOT allowed", yeah, but the whole server is built on a command, which forces YOU to either roleplay with cops, or die.
This command, even though it has been here for forever, is in multiple eyes, a bad one.
The cops vs criminal scenerio is like this: You maybe do something, you could basically random hit someone without any purpose of it. You get suspected for it, and you're like "Oh my god, come on", You start to get mad because of the whole orange name thingy. Then you like get these ten cops rushing towards you and like "SURRENDER SURRENDER DO /GU", then you like walk another step and gets shot in the back. I mean come the f**k on, you randomly hit a guy, and now you get shot in the f**king back for it? After this, you either are very upset by moaning and whine on mainchat or to admins, get a warning for YOUR behaviour, which is truely understandable, or you finally "GUED" like the wanted. You give up, a random cop drives you to the station, then you go inside, get jailed and it's out. - Here's the real C VS. R scenario. Is this roleplay? Then I have no clue about what roleplay is, I certainly don't. This is forced, and it's forced to max. But the server has an rule about forcing roleplay?
No, criminals are slightly retarded as well sometimes, but I took this from my own view when I enter the game, not after some punk running around shooting whoever just for the coolness inside of him, like everyone adores.

We do not 'hate' people who use brackets or specific styles. What we hate is people who hav no imagination and there for can only moan about there not being tons of scripts to help them as they can not walk by them selves.

Cops are not allowed to suspect you unless you break (non-existing) laws. So instead of breaking laws try to be not a criminal and not a cop... but that would take imagination...

Community grows, but the lack of RP stays. People seem to join this server as "Wow, a server with friendly chatters and some scripts to fool around with. Suits me". Then why the hell the "RPG" suffix is put near the server name?

Bullshit as it is... here are more those who are from old times and still are here, because there is no another server with that possibilities for ALL kinds of roleplay... As i mentioned before - developers even included the "self-miisions"... And it is on multiplayer which is actually created to operate with other players (not with missions)

Those who left? as Gandalf said correct - those, who were banned for shitting us when could not turn Argonath in THEIR way...

They were coming on our server, which those times had even less scripts, oriented on zomg roleplayers, and they were having fun here... Until... Until they did not start trying to change things due to their boredom...

I saw on my practice many "good-bye forever topics"... And still players are coming back... Of cos, after checking other servers, got excited then after some time got bored (as any other server), they are some how coming back here...

Example: the same Omri... Who got banned here multiple times, flaming our roleplay, supporting idea of leet roleplayers who are under press of Argonath owners (what a bullshit), spreading shit about Argonath non roleplay server... Where is Omri now? Still here...

About roleplay of Argonath...

For OUR leet roleplayers it is difficult...

1. This server has a grand admins system... Such protection does not exist on any other server... Of cos its difficult to "make" money here...

2. This server does not support the system of auto paydays, which is implemented on zomg roleplay servers... Where players just camping and getting money for sitting on server (hooray payday)

3. Moaning about REAL LIFE roleplay?

Lets see it in REAL LIFE style... If you are those zomg REAL LIFE experts on samp...
For now the inflation on Argonath I do believe is 90%... When government prints money more then citizens provide the products...
Did I go too far from real life? I hope, you have enough imagination to understand this "attack on real life roleplay"... Social payments of government are going through paydays and events, organized specially for citizens to get money...

Where are those millionaires of real life roleplay who sponsored any event? Nowhere... If this server would be based on REAL LIFE - inflation would just brake Argonath country faster then hackers...

3. Not enough jobs? Lets see...

- Argonath has amount of stable jobs: police, taxi driver, limo driver, train driver, bus driver, medics, hookers, hitman...
- Argonath has all types of cars for you
- Argonath has all types of interiors for you
- Argonath gives you possibility of any buildings in San Andreas
- Argonath has all types of massDMsafety weapons
- Argonath has weed/heroin script

What you need for roleplay?
I can tell you what... You need a missions scripts so that you can on your own make money without involving other players... Why? Simple explanation here...

"Other servers have a weapon seller job!" Excuse me? What you need for weapon sell? Money from one side and weapons from other side... That is all... Does Argonath have it? Read the list of possibilities above...

Answer: yes... What Argonath does not have? A mission... Get weapons, drive to check point, unload weapons, get amount of money (hooray!)... Then what Argonath suggests? Get weapons and try to sell it... If you, excuse me, suck in trades - that is not Argonath's sucking roleplay...

And say f**king "thanks" to newbies who take this dirty work and play as cops on server... Cos only they can handle that amount of moaning at their side... And strong roleplayers from the old times... All others report on everyone including cops in their car and admins...
