Are ther undercover cops? I ask this because earlier I am ingame with someone, then Louis Keyl (I think his name is?) is driving around us, his name is white. The person I am with aims at him, since he drove around a couple times we were getting a bit worried. But then Louis's name changes to blue and the guy gets suspected. Then after the situation is over Louis leaves and changes his name back to white. I ask him how is a cop when his name is white, but he says that doesn't mean he's off duty. So are there undercover cops? I know posting a topic asking wont change anything, but it feels kind of unfair : / Is there any way to spot an undercover cops or is it safe to assume to all high rank cops have this ability? I am just confused and didnt know anyone could do this, and no Im not attacking louis or anything, just curious now.

Louis Keyl is FBI, but there are indeed high ranked cops with the ability to go under-cover.

Ways to spot UC cops? Just go around and see if there are any, remember the names of cops you see undercover etc. Examples: [WS]Battle_Kolta,GiacJr,MIkro(forgot his tag XD) other FBI members, and at some time while Jay_Adams was in S.W.A.T he went on UC duty alot soo, cheers.

People should not aim guns or threat normal looking civilians (which may be UC cops)  :razz:

Everyone is high ranked enough to go on UC duty.
Even freecops can, you just have to get your UC badge issued by a Lieutenant+.
Although it doesn't happen much a Freecop gets a UC badge (Might be never happened at all).

If I'm not right, this is just what I got told.

Even i saw Robbery on UC Cop infront of me on duty,and they were in LSPD!

Officers + All have the Ability if selected to go Undercover.
FBI Agents + have a everlasting ability to go undercover.
SAPD High ranks have the ability to go undercover.

why lock the topic? Seems like people like discussing... and maybe i have more questions.

What if there is like an RP going on, where one person involved is a UC cop but in the RP everyone thinks they are civillian, then people like get weapons out or so (goes along with RP)and then the UC cop goes on duty and sus's them all and ruins RP.. I saw that happen before, what do you do then? Just /report or what?

That's more of an police bust of a group of citizen doing something illegal then runing rp if he is an UC police officer..  :cop:

If i remember correct the scripts stops us from giving UC rights to freecops even if we would like to..
