So I don't see how it's our fault we get abusive freecops.

So I don't see how it's our fault we get moaners who create a negative atmosphere.

Bring back the old SAPD then, where it actualy ment something to be a Officer. Nowadays people join just to get their hands on a MP5.
You mean that there is no actual difference between SAPD and ARPD officers except weapons, or that acceptance rules of SAPD are too soft ?

Over the last two weeks I've been off duty a lot. I've been abused exactly 0 times.
In my two years in Argonath I've personally witnessed less than ten cases of people getting abused by cops for no reason whatsoever. Most of the time the 'abuse' has been provoked by messages such as 'lol gtfo freecop' or 'what the fuck do you want noob'.

A large portion of the people moaning about abusive freecops have extremely abrasive personalities and, in most cases, are abusive towards freecops themselves.

Of course there are black sheep, but that would be like me wanting Gvardia banned because of Gulucan.

Just that.

Acceptance rules aren't soft.

the only reply that worths to read/watch in this thread.. is Frank Hawk's.

Good job buddy  :cop:

:ps: as i said before.. its not the SAPD who is creating the problem between the freecops and citizens... its the citizens themselves... but only the SAPD is working on the solution, and you are just getting ugly in my eyes with making bullshit topics on the forums

those who were Lt or Sgt but left the SAPD because they failed... and didnt do shit when they had the opportunity, you better stop barking.. and go back where you came from you flop

Got a little question for whoever is in the right position to answer, and keep the answer to this civialised...

When did we need all of the SAPD, FBI and SWAT to catch one criminal?

I was on duty the other day as a freecop, I arrive at a scene and all I see is a bags of cops, but there was only one criminal inside who was wanted, I mean seriously, how are non-SAPD supposed to get into the action when so many officers are called just for one guy?

I just don't personally feel like joining SAPD just to get into the action, for me SAPD is not set out correctly and is heading in the wrong direction, its way too complicated as it is already let alone all these different things that are going on.

But what about the freecops that do want the action? Do they really have to join SAPD to get into the action?

Moving on, FBI... god what is going on? Who the hell made a rule that says FBI agents can't patrol in normal cop cars with normal cops?

And why are FBI agents patrolling in the FBI Ranchers looking for small street criminals when they should be busy with the bigger crimes and investigating, or off duty.

EDIT:

Also, to balance my argument, the other day when I was on freecop duty, I was trying to roleplay with a guy, then he ends up randomly killing me, I ask him why he done it, his answer was something similar to this:

"Because I don't like freecops so thats why I killed you."

We actually do this. It's just that we don't inform the public about everything we do.

Bring back the old SAPD then, where it actualy ment something to be a Officer. Nowadays people join just to get their hands on a MP5.

I have to agree here.

Although I respect and admit the fact that Pancher, Hank, and Vince are trying their best to lead, the organization of the SAPD on a whole is simply inferior in general.

Freecops don't have desk staff or organized jailing. Guess what, SAPD doesn't either. On the topic of acceptation standards being too soft, I have to agree as well. SAPD is putting into practice a de facto "quantity over quality" policy.

Not that I am trying to shit on SAPD here, but discipline is not enough and corruption is / was rampant (inb4 asking me to point out names- you damn well know what happened), not to mention the organization of the SAPD has ended up turning the title "SAPD Officer" from a feared and respected individual into just yet another regular street cop. Every time I ask around about the old ARPD and SAPD, I keep hearing about how officers were actually respected by the general public without having to achieve Lt. or similar ranks.

In short, the SAPD leadership is trying. However, it is not trying hard enough.

The most important part is interacting with others and meeting people from around the world.

I understand your point about privacy but thats why we have a FBI forum, there is also CB channel's you can use for private chat.

The part I don't get is the part I mentioned about patrolling together for small time criminals that are speeding or driving wrecklessly.

When you could just be patrolling with other officers like normal in normal squad cars and when its time for FBI duty you get together and contact the rest of the FBI agents online. That way it gives freecops a chance to get involved in some of the action.

In one hand.. you like to compare me with Luca Scalise and my method.
In the other hand, you say the SAPD standards are too easy.

You forgot long time ago what means to be ARPD...

Quote from: Aragorn
ARPD is not a club, is not a clan, is not a restricted group...

We are the police community, opened for all players...

http://arpd.argonathrpg.com/forum/index.php?topic=1099.0

We are not supposed to make the profesional cop RP to be restricted.... we give chance to all players to join us.

Also.. you saying we ignore the freecops, and we only play/work with SAPD officers.
Its not true, and it would be appriciated to dont post about something.. what you dont know at all.

The LVPD is under my direct lead, and we organised more then 101 hours police events... and the several trainings is not in this number... Most of the times, there is present 80% freecops, and 20% SAPD cops.
Those freecops.. who are attending on these events becomes the new SAPD members. This is how it goes, and you should open your eyes already...
These numbers are just the registered duty hours, what is reported on the ARPD forums, but the serveral trainings.. and helping the officers are not registered on forums... its given day to day.. when the SAPD staff is on duty.

Indeed, im trying to form the whole SAPD to be similar to LVPD... but not the style of the work.. but to use the same way to be opened for freecops, and have active command staff.

The SAPD is opened, but if you want to rank up from officer you how to work hard.. and you have to show high activity.

The pride is given back to SAPD.. it means something to be officer.. or senior officer. If you are sergeant.. it shows the real dedication and activity.

Here it is what we do...... and YOU?

Its not the SAPD who lost the real meaning of the ARPD.... its sadly the FBI who chose their own path.. basicly left behind the ARPD, and playing with their restricted group... doing circles, and giving chance to the favoured to try the FBI role.

you want the old SAPD back? which one... tell me how was it better then the current active police department

Make up your mind people, and open your eyes!
