Hello there.
I've thought of something, which might be really interesting in the future.
The concept is of San Andreas's Single Player Mode, where you have to take over turfs all over Los Santos.
Why don't we have something like that on VC:MP too?
For example, if two gangs want to battle for territory, either one picks out their territory, and whoever survives last from either gang wins.
Maybe a command like /c turf would help.
/c turf -> [LocationXY] is owned by the [Gang]
Lets say /c turf -> Southern Downtown is owned by the IT gang.
Yes, I know there's a few flaws in this.
It would take constant updating for this, as no one knows how fast these territories can be taken over,
and the scripting is a bit annoying.
But how about the idea in general?

Your gang should be able to conquer a turf with roleplay, showing who's the boss around the area, otherwise it's not a gang.. Just do a territory fight using your brain and shooting skills if needed...

There are some thing that'd be crucial to ''take over'' a area:

- Your gang's main hangout is located at this area?
- Do your gang members hang around often around that area?
- Do your gang members posses many properties in that area?
- Many crimes related to your gang are reported from that area?
- Many roleplay situations, gang meetings happen in that area?

Debating with idiots it's like trying to play chess with a pigeon - it knocks the pieces over, craps on the board, and flies back to its flock to claim victory.

Naaaa. I don't think so :P
Let's just RP and do a simple map with gang territories on vice city map...Remember Morph, this is not a retarded SAMP RP server, where you get everything from start, where you just have to apply as a leader and you get free HQ, weapons, cars and shit. Here it's realistic and we need to actually work to afford what we want.

If you want let's do a gang territory map instead.

Gang taxes, sounds a good idea. Whoever owns a property in the gangs turf, gets taxed once a week or something. That might make owning turfs important for gangs. I can see what Neal is saying, but we can always implement these things onto the RP, to make these things more rewarding. Also certain turfs will be more rewarding than others, and gangs will fight for the best turfs.

I agree. Both gangs will have a huge fight, A/D style on an important property on that territory. For instant Haiti could be the Haiti warehouse or Junkyard. Each gang will supply themselves with their arsenal from their HQ. All weapons allowed, all glitching allowed. Once a member of one of the gangs dies, he can not spawn until the fight is over. The fight is over if the attacking team take over the defending teams base. or if the defending team wipe out the attacking team, or if the attacking team kill all of the defending team.

This will be awesome :P

Im not much fan of A/D because people cant respawn in it.

I like more Frag limit DM.
Which is:
2 gangs fight for 20 minutes.
The gang who reaches 50 score first wins.
Score: Killing enemy +1, Killing teammate -1
After 20 minutes, if none of the gangs reach 50 score, the gang with more score wins.
Respawning allowed ofc.

Anyway, why are we discussing DM script ideas here?
We can have this script in ParUni...then both gangs can go there...have their gangwar and come back to argo with cookies.  :hurray:

I'm ok with this as well. This would have to be enabled, like the training. Not only because it basically starts a DM between two gangs, but because an Admin needs to be present. Otherwise things could get out of hand. Also the admin can make sure there is even sides for the fight.

About the cops, disallowing cops to intervene the fight wouldn't be too RPish. As cops would be called on a 415 and code purple and all that. The cops will be a pain, but deaths mean nothing if its the way you explain.
