In RS5 you can not be in DS and CMB in one time together so, you have to choose between both of them.

Indeed 'Logic' as the script does not allow you to be in both groups. This has been known since before RS5 was released.

Then it'd be more practical to fix the script issue instead of adjusting the rules to this error. Or am I wrong?

It's not a script issue, that's how it is made. You can not be in DS & CMB at the same time anymore. This had already been decided quite a while before RS5 was released, hence why CMB and DS were not hiring people that were in one or another, or were forcing them to choose.

Yeah, but things didn't turn out as expected, so it'd be more logical if - at least for now - CMB membership would be available for DS members as well.

Regardless of what you may think is better, you may be wrong.

CMB requires people who can test new players, for the sake of Argonath.
I would presume CMB denying all DS people as CMB testers is not simply because it does not like DS, but as stated because you can not physically be in both. 

It's fairly simple, unless told otherwise, you can be a DS if you do not have access to any driving school scripts, you will just need to ask a person who can give licenses to give them, and if you do not like this idea, then either you're very stubborn or looking for power.
 
When I was CMB Supervisor, I did not like Driving School people in CMB anyway, and this was before the  CMB scripts and DS was even linked in scripts. Simply for the reason that they will use it to seek power and or it will mean they can not be dedicated to passport testing. Take into consideration there are much more driving school people than CMB, and this has not even changed since Rs3.

Simply retain your official license from the driving school to test people, and let it be known in your application that you are no longer in the DS script.
There shouldn't be an issue of "you are DS and need the ability to give the license or you can't be a DS". It's not difficult, you just ask someone else to give the license, even someone from another school if your school is inactive.

Yes it's not the best of ideas to do when testers times are taken into consideration.
CMB is Argonath's Passport Testing service. Not a citizens advice or support bureau (cough BCA). But either way it'd be better to teach them more.


Either way, if you have any further complaints / concerns you are better off pming the Director directly.

What kind of power are you talking about? The power to help out new players by giving them a driving license and passport?

Yeah, great idea if the server had 150 daily players, but unfortunately it doesn't, so we obviously need to find a workaround.
