The question was about index page which appeared with words from Columbus that all computers are now virused... So the answer was - no, there was no virus...

As about Java thingy - if you pressed it - then all what you did was correct...
So no worries...

Hello, my username is Dex507, I use this account because apparently it's linked to my email, this account was used by my brother long time ago.

I cannot reset my password it because the Email used on that Username is no longer available. So now I'm stuck not being able to reset my old forum account.
If some of moderators can help me, i'd greatly appreciate it!

True that, but a newly reformat is always the best in my opinion. I havn't formated my own in 8 months so I should not say anything. It runs as smooth since I formatted it.

And I do not know when the MSDOS 5.1 age was  :lol:

Just as Gandalf said, that is NOT a recommended action. If you took care of your computer, you would NEVER have to do this. Users use it as an excuse to not run security applications, clean out temporary files, scan their computer, or deal with issues they caused by installing incompatible, malicious, or inefficient software. Even in most cases where you need to reinstall your OS after it has been damaged due to unforeseen events, XP and higher offer a Repair option, so there is STILL no need to format your data. I just hope that if you are still doing this, you aren't making it worse by formatting and reinstalling your OS with floppies ;)

@Grzesiek: I don't think his wife would be too happy if he upgraded his calendar hahaha...

Guys, after looking on the site this hacker is on.

They claim that they only attack/hack sites that have defaced them in someway, stolen things from the site, or personal reasons.

Why would the hacker have any problems at all with us?
