What to do about this school bully..

In my school we got a 16 years old bully , im 15 and when i finish school he always call me to give his money , i started to make gym and put a lot of muscle's in , 1 week ago ( i know its summer ) i meet him near the school me with some friends we had a baseball bat , i went to him directly and punched his face with my friends and hit him with the bat , i only broke his lip but now he respect me and every day salutes me

Russians do say usually in such situations: if you have no brains go train your muscles...

Teenagers and adults do think differently... For teenagers being bad and being hero is like something equal... For adults you can start using your muscles only when there is a threat for your life or life of your family... Cos the correct humans behaviour is to avoid aggression to have your family/you safety...

Anyways though I was also a powerful idiot I was never attacking anyone while I am winning in amount of friends with me and with some sort of weapon in my hands... In your situation its a shame, cos you dropped down even more as a bully one...

But maybe for you its a honour...

My post meant to say he should deal with it without taking advices from the Internet because the answer is too barefaced. The guy will persist on hurting him regardless of the fact he can be hurt, yes; but, when he gets hurt, he will think twice before pulling the same stunt on him and find another vulnerable kid. It's unavoidable.

He is not taking advices from just Internet... He is asking people from the special community... From different countries and different ages... The best place ever to ask such questions to hear opinion of different ages without being known...

Yeah yeah even through internet is repeating the same stuff... You answer with flame to flamer and the flamer starts shit and flame even more being hurt... And if your bully is owned on public that will be even worse... You will try to gain back a "reputation" by any kinds of flame...

Suggesting people to answer the same way is just like putting the head into the toilet's hole...

The only best way to handle a bully in my view is too to complain about it to the school / college authorities and including your parents /guardians a the same time and have a proper complaint lodge about the person troubling you, discuss with them how much pressured you been through in express all your feeling by the trouble you got by the bully..
It might feel that he will turn back again on you and try to make things more worse but trust me he wont as when the issue is passed on the people who can handle it from a different view and from a different level there is nothing to be worried about as the bully cannot do anything after (think of it as a ban for a cheater from the server) all you need to do is take the first step and /report..
And my advice would be don't get involved in any kind of violence just because he is using it on you it will make you look more bad as he will get a point to throw it back on you that you hit him etc etc yes some bully's do have some brain..

I dont know how you take my advice and in what view but trust me after few years you will think this was the the right and mature decision i took..

Tell the true story to them, show that you're obviously feeling bad. Make your parents know why you did what and it would be solved.

There is definitely no single solution for such a problem. It exists of different little solutions that form the whole solution. However in every situation it is an other combination.

It should be definitely reported to a teacher, principal or anyone from the staff. Ask for a small talk with the mentor. They will understand you and help you solving it, however it is hard for them to take direct actions that take effect. Don't think it is over at once.

Think about all bully situations you have had. Review them in your head: what happened? What made you crack? How did it started? Why you reacted in the way you did? In this whole progress you will gain a lot of self knowledge that can help you a lot with stopping the bullying and it can even help in your further life.

Remember, you are only f**ked if you feel f**ked.

Mostly the bullier got nothing to stand on, with a simple reaction, a smile and then walking away you can make the bullier his interest in you drop quite fast. However it all depends on the situation, that is why you have to think for yourself what you feel by the past situations.

Ye, police ain't gonna do any cause he's a minor, principle is gonna give him some school punishment, parents gonna ground him for few weeks, but no one is gonna try fucking with him no more in the future.

If he gets no trouble from the police and is able to explain the situation clearly to the parents then I see no reason why they wouldn't support him.

Though I have only dealt with.. you know.. my parents. So my view of parental figures in general is obviously as skewed as anyone's.

When I was in fourth grade, this one guy in class tried to bully me hard. Out of impulse, I snatched my pencil (which was newly sharpened, people always came to me to borrow sharpeners) and went for his jugular.
 
I didn't exactly stab where I planned (and today I am thankful I missed), and landed the pencil half an inch in his back instead. Since then, all the "tough guys" in the school tried nothing to do with me, since I'd never talk to them anyway; they acted like I was a stranger, which worked for me.
 
Today though, I believe in less violent methods. If you can't beat him senseless without getting into the shit, then find a way to ruin some other aspect of his life. Panda's post regarding psychological torture on the first page was particularly appealing for me.
