Maybe in a future VC version, they would be able to change car plates. After all, another multiplayer client development team has already created a functional swimming engine for VC, something not normally possible in SP.

sure, I will keybind /me has a license plate saying 'xxxxxx' and spam it across the whole city. I'm sure others will like it!
There are already license plates within current scripts, I'd just like the option to edit them. (NO NOT VISUALLYYYY)

The mod you are speaking of has discontinued development. It turns out much of their code was based on a VC:MP 0.1c open source that they had illegally closed and modified, breaking it's license, and lying to the public about it. As for the swimming itself, they just tweaked the existing mod with better code and memory addresses since much more is known about VC now than it was back then.

Speaking of upcoming versions, VC:MP has their's in the works, and it's not the same 0.4 you've been waiting years for. Be patient, the awesomesauce is coming soon to a server near you
