didnt say anything about not being able to use it myself, or it needing removal... i jus said that theres wayyy too many of them in the server now.

hmm... i couldnt help but notice that Combat shotgun and NRG are becoming extremely common...
i was wondering if anyone else was kinda getting bored of it...

In what way was he incorrect? The combat shotgun is not a fully automatic weapon, it is semi automatic.

full auto as in... rapid fire and no click spam involved

in real life its semi automatic, in game its fully automatic

In the game you fire consequtive shots while holding the trigger. This is by definition automatic.

By your logic the desert eagle and the sniper rifle are also fully automatic, then.

Deagle is semi automatic, due to its long over-exhaggerated recoil

Combat has effectively no recoil... making it appear fully automatic when holding the mouse button

personally, if i use combat, i crouch and fire carefully... but it can easily fire rapidly without letting go of mouse, thus, automatic.

It does not appear fully automatic, it fires in bursts.
The firing mechanism should not be based off of the required mouse input, as that is a poor way to do it.

People will always overuse the best equipment (or weapon, in this case) if they can obtain it.
It's a game. Learn to find the weak spots of the Combat Shotgun and counter it.
I wanted it removed once, but now I honestly don't give a flying fuck anymore as I know how to fight against it.
