This is not really a new idea as such, but something to work around a problem that was found when beta testing the upcoming server.
Deliveries to certain businesses have proven to be difficult, especially where the truck can't squeeze through the doorway or when the driver can't find exactly where to drop off the goods. :P
One idea might be to make use of loading/delivery bays, particularly in more concise parts of the city, and for the shopping malls.
Just taking North Point Mall as an example:

(Woops, left my HUD active)
The above two could be possible locations for truck drivers to stop and unload.
They could type in a command similar to
/c deliver <name of business> if it's a shared bay.
A similar system could be made use of along certain streets that are known to house more than one business. Or nearby car parks/open spaces could also be made use of.
Some sort of blip/pick up might act as a marker + could provide info on what all businesses share that particular bay.
For less congested areas it would probably be best to have delivery points outside the door itself (without a pick up to mark it).
--> An idea that might work in future.
Imports currently come in from one source now, but it might open up some new business possibilities if companies could share or send stock from one place to another. Linked/partnered companies would be able to work together directly, and chain/branched businesses (such as some restaurants, Ammunation, Pay N Spray) could also make agreements.
A thought.
