I scammed a 1 month old player something like 3 months ago.
I lost in a street gamble and didn't give the 50k, but Salmonella told me to give it anyway or I would get banned.
Wtf Sal?

One as a citizen could use it to avoid a situation with another player for example a confrontation and or roleplay. Few more have just sprung to my mind too however they will not be mentioned as some will then start having ideas...
The /helpmeup command could easily be abused in role-play scenarios, also such as shootouts etcetera so it's rather good that's not allowed for citizens.
What you both are talking about is basically escaping a shootout by the mean of getting away from that during a roleplay situation, what I do not understand is why is it not allowed when I am not in a roleplay situation.

And we do not try to be real life, as why would you ever play real life if you have one ? We play the GTA universe, and our players should try to live in the GTA world, not the real one.

I I've assumed the don't force roleplay actually meant don't force your style on others. As being on a roleplay server you are generally expected to roleplay.

As Arjun said, the only purpose of /helpmeup is for if you're being carkilled or bugged. Don't deviate from command's requirements.

Where must we go... we who wander this Wasteland in search of our better selves?

As being in Argonath I expect people to have fun while not ruining others that meaning if you wish to just hang out with other people you should be able to do it without someone coming to force you into roleplaying lets say robbery or kidnapping in which you clearly do not wish to participate.

All the points Cutt3r have taken up in this topic is all true.

1. All the crazy deathmatching at drug spots have been to much. I call it unprovoked deathmatching and it will be tolerated with a tempban if the offences are so high. By just coming from nowhere and blatant deathmatch a player is not the right way to solve it. Though our newer generation of players have been influenced with this and they think this is allowed in some cases. It has been hectic and quite shocking that many players have done it. But it seems it have gone downhill instead of uphill the latest time, and that's a positive thing.

2. Scamming in legal businesses like casino and house sales are strictly forbidden and the player faces the punishment with a permban. A heads up, don't ever never gamble outside a casino. You will be scammed. Regarding the illegal drug and weapon businesses there is not much we can do more than say you should be cautious and see who you deal with. This have never happened with me since I have had my contacts before and trustable buyer/sellers.

3. As Cutt3r mentioned, spawnreset abuse at drug spots are strictly forbidden. Same goes for like fire missions, don't abuse /spawnreset there neither. /helpmeup have been abused  the latest time buy suspects, they have used it as a tool to suicide as a suspect for an instant. Same with the nicely TAB button, that is being used alot.

Some more things to bring up, misleading players or encouraging them to rulebreak is not a good thing. This have I seen to much of lately, regulars who mislead new players is very common and they will be punished severly. Exploiting bugs are also a thing that players takes advantage of.

Make the new person scam rule to 1 month, ban is appropriate.
Not everyone will play Argonath everyday when new, do you play it everyday?
You may still be registered for 15 days but only have played 5 days, you could be busy, it may not be your life.

Also please say, are you bound by rules / law to gamble if you open your casino?
I think gambling's for silly people, I only gamble for fun and I serve drinks in my casino.
One guy enter my casino and say lets bet.
I say no, I only give drinks.
And he rage and say scammer and say he sue me.

The so called illegal weapons trade, once Aragorn was asked in-game about it, he says "I don't see how legal thing can be illegal to trade". Please clarify. IF people trade it wherever it should be legal yes?
The ammunition people shouldn't mind because they're raking it in compared to any other business, and where is the roleplay of just earning money for guns? I remember Gvardia used to sell weapons and had a ammunition shop, they said that they where roleplaying gun sellers from there own ammunition shop, perhaps even cheaper than ammunition, so why was it forbidden?

Btw why are you all on about "This is shallow?" Do you know it says that we are living in a corrupt and bad society somewhere in Argonaths description? :P

Well said, DM on drug fields was a common problem nowadays :) Btw, what about scamming a new player off illegal things, like weed/heroin etc? I never scammed anyone but would like it to be clarified.
