Stone Age much?
Less computing power required to run OS = More power directed somewhere useful!  :D

I personally like:

Windows XP - Simple...and when you click "repair" on something, it actually works, unlike Vista.
Windows Vista - Simple to use, though has some annoying bits on it.
Ubuntu - Free and light. Has some issues, but nothing I can't cope with, for free!
Android - Feels less professional, but sometimes I like that.

Salt and hate won't take us anywhere.
And we do not try to be real life, as why would you ever play real life if you have one ? We play the GTA universe, and our players should try to live in the GTA world, not the real one.

Along time ago, people were starting programs and maintaining their pc by typing everything from a command prompt (c>)
As this was kind of unfriendly to new users, a GUI (Graphical interface) was developed around it, so instead of working from a command prompt people could use their mouse to do almost everything.

Some old users revolted and created a system that went back to the old ways, it was called Linux.

Now they feel superior, while having to run tons of stuff to use the same programs, often causing their computers to crash which they do not understand is coming from their emulators but they accuse Windows instead. And these people tell I live in the stone age...

graphical user interface^

No I don't play anymore

Gandalf, I'm pretty sure Linux wasn't created as part of a "revolt" against the GUI. In fact, there are plenty of Linux systems with full-featured GUIs, Ubuntu probably being the most prominent example there is.

Rather, Linux was originally created as a college hobby by Linus Torvalds. It was later coupled with GNU's own project, which had the goal of creating a UNIX-compatible, free and open source operating system, which basically every operating system ever created has been based off of, DOS, Windows, and OS X included.

Not all Linux users necessarily feel superior to Windows users because they're not using Windows -- most of them probably do, but not all of them. Some just like the feel, others its openness, others for its stability, and so on.

That being said, I prefer Windows 7 for compatibility, stability, and ease of use. However, whenever I run a server, I try to use Arch Linux to set it up, since Linux is, in my opinion, much better for server use than Windows. no offense to Azellus

Windows 7 and Ubuntu.

Windows 7 because its one best of windows series in my opinion, and I use windows because 90% of games and stuff are for windows.

Ubuntu because its nice and easy to use, free afterall.
