Without Further delay, we're glad to annouce the official release of the Argonath Stock Market version 2.0.1

We have been working over the past month to engineer a newer, fresher and more interactive experience on the Argonath Stock Market; Bringing you closer and more involved with you and your stock trades. We have incorporated features to customise your viewing experiences, features to allow you better control over how the site operates for you, features to give you a better, cleaner view into the operation of the market.

After countless hours of work, we've done just that. Redesigned, and Re-engineered the next stock market. Here is a preview of some of the changes you can see!

Visual and Mechanics Customizations

With this settings thread you can control how the mechanic elements of the market work for you; such as the length of time to display a notice message, when to send you an email and when not to and even other things such as visual element changes like the color scheme of the whole site.

Bigger, more detailed Contacts System

We have upgraded the contacts system to be larger and include more. We've added our beta tesers, our admins and our moderators who will moderate our new compact-forum sysem.

"Quick Glance" Boxes

These interesting fellas give you the latest information on the servers you play, these can be enabled and disabled in real-time via the homepage!

Compact Forum System

We've engineered our own mini-forums directly into the site (ASM 2.0.2) and fully operational moderation system and board & topic creation system. Virtually fast and easy to discuss with other members!

The Smarter Portfolio

We've taken the time to rethink the porfolio system, and have added fully interactive charts directly to each users portfolio. This new portfolio system gives each user a direct and indepth understanding of themselves, and other users in the Market.

Its back to the drawing boards, not just the rephrase board. We're taking all of the hard produced work of ASM so far and trashing it. Using the latest in development and web design, we will recreate ASM from scratch. We aren't talking about just recreating it to its glory as of now, we are going for bigger, better, faster, and even more glory than ever before or thought possible.

The new system will use a modular oriented programming style, compared to our current procedural style now which leads to problems when adding new features, making bug fixes, and in general working as  team. We'll be using our own custom remixed MVC(model-view controller) style of programming that'll allow us to bring and provide simply the best and fastest possible service.

Our giant step forward will be taking place on side of our current general work to the current system. So everything in our current site will resume as planned and operational.

What exactly will be new?
New look & feel (theme)
New site. That is all we can say so far.

How long will this take?
Looking at roughly 5-6 weeks.

Will it require testing?
Yes. Our beta testers now will be the same testers of that new system plus any Argonath Admin+ is eligible for beta testing.

Without further delay, its back to the actual drawing board to sort my mind. Also, please welcome Adam. as our new trial developer!
