I asked once about suspect DBing on-foot officer. I got told there is no rules about it so it's "tolerated"

Bump time cause discussion about this was in /p.

So, if you're an officer and being shot at, it's okay to DB if they're on foot.

What if it's the reverse situation? Logically the suspects should be taking the chance to escape if an officer is on foot without a vehicle, but of course people like to DM, so the real situation is different. Are suspects allowed to DB on-foot officer? And does it matter if the officer is shooting them or not?
If people like to DM, they should log off before they get banned.

In the rare case of suspects being engaged by an officer on foot, they can use the drive-by while escaping. Using drive-by to search officers on foot and kill them is a direct ban.

Reminds me of Queens situation 2 days ago at night with some special guests on NRG circling around cops and drive bying them while they were on foot and tehnicly weren't engaging them, more than just taking cover behind wall.

Thanks, the line explains it all!

What I meant by 'likes to DM' is that they'll take any opportunity and excuse to kill. So eventhough, as you said, they can drive-by while escape, they'll take the chance to kill the officer with an excuse 'He shot at me'.

Need clarification on a reverse situation:

Cop on foot shooting at the suspects who are on the bike, can the passanger DB him?

You forgot to mention the cops on police bikes who were crusing around those same people who some were on foot, and some were in vehicles, and DBing them as driver. They were the target of those 'special guests'.

Guess they'll find another server as well.

I ate bullets on my own flesh from drive by when I was just trying to survive behind wall taking cover, but we aren't about it now, you're administration  therefore  you will deal with it in future.

And to your question answer is yes as far you are just passing by and don't engage direct combat with officers.

Or to clarify even further, you may shoot bullets back while the driver is doing his best to leave the area ASAP. If the driver has no intention of leaving the area in order to escape, then no. Get off the bike then.
