On one side I disagree with the reset of every account,
Players worked hard to get to the stance they have now.
If they did this in a month before RS5's release it would feel like they did all for nothing.

On another side I agree with the reset of every account,
as this would make everyone on the same level. and it just depends on the effort players set in to work back to what they have.

I however vote NOT to reset accounts, The reason is the first one stated in this post.

Who gives a shit about his /whenmade. It's a date when you registered. Not your ID.

I agree that people accounts should not be reset at any cost.Look i have been working hard to earn a bike and trying to have a bizz.Resetting people account will really break their heart.Maybe half of them leave the server?.
I just want to say that,we must not reset everyone`s account.If transfer of accounts is impossible then it should be done.

If the only you play for is Virtual Money, first of all you need therapy second of all you need to go out and get a job. Then you'll understand the true meaning of the value of money. Virtual money ain't shit, and you should be here for the friendships you've gained and gaining not the achievements you think will help you progress in your life. No job, or college or University is going to give a care in the world if you give them a transcript of your Argonath stats..

If you people actually try to roleplay your role to gain as much money you can, using it as their main priority, then you should rethink your way of roleplaying.

If people recognizes you under your alias, it doesn't matter which date you registered, you will be recognized and respected for that nonetheless.
Hiding under your whenmade to get more respect and knowledge than new players is just one blurry attempt of being the cool one.

Nobody 100 percent know's any of this at the moment and im sure they would get you your FBI ranks back etc probs, and in my opinion yes why skyhawk said is true if you only play for virtual money then go to therapy this is an online roleplay game not and online Gambling game or online Moneyhungry Game. sure some people need a tiny bit of money but Roleplay can always be as amusing as whatever rich people do with their money is.

I would like mine set to 2007... See this is why the command is going to be banished from players again too much bickering and obsessiveness over a date. The command was lowered to player level to help with certain things mainly passports and licensing. Not to make your ego bigger.

Anything like Admin permissions, Police permissions of course they will be set manually it's most likely. If the base of the accounts cannot be transferred.

I see no need for a /whenmade as you can always remember (if you actually take note) the date you first enter a certain Argonath server, regardless of your account creation. For instance, I first came to MTA:VC on April 26 2008, then to SA:MP on July 27 of the same year.

The date on your /whenmade does not matter, but how you carry yourself as a player...

I'm all in for a cash reset. The current economy is SHIT. The amount of cash in the system needs to be controlled more (and jobs need to pay less (FBI etc)).

Sure, but I don't really want people running around with millions, owning the best mansions and cars without hard work. This was by no way directed at any specific group, but really. BSF pays millions every month. We don't have need for all that. You are not supposed to be driving an Infernus first month playing, really. Even your first car should be an accomplishment. Paychecks and prices are not in balance.

BSF may be upsetting the balance, but the FBI's salary definitely isn't enough to make you rich on it alone as well.

BSF was started to put regular money in to the system. The reason for this is that the current script are destroying funds in high amounts. Money you pay for weapons, gas and food goes in to a black hole, and as there is imbalance in fines and rewards, so does part of the money lost on jailing/being killed.
This means that without putting some money back in, the whole of the server would depend on new players arriving and spending their money (multiaccounting moneycheats included).
It is clear that this would make getting any posession as good as impossible, and to live only on paydays and lotteries is also not a good idea.

In the new scripts we are planning to know exactly how much money is in game, and we will try to recycle as much of it as possible. This means that things like the BSF may be replaced by other ways of distributing money, which are more within automated scripts.
