I don't know why is this happening but first of all thank God for the food we eat and the floor we're living under, and all the other gifts. In my family, we are alright, we have money more than we need. My life is great, our lives are great. But the problem is, I have been asking for few things for 7 long years. When I see other people in my age with cellphones and such, I really want to cry in that very moment and complain about why I don't possede  what other people have. I never had a cellphone.
Before even asking for a cellphone, I wanted a gaming console, AT LEAST a Playstation 1. I never got one. I never got a gaming console, and all those promises are completely lies. My father is very lazy. My family wanted a car, my father is so lazy and surprisingly somehow survived the 13 years of requests to buy a car. We never got a car and we will never will. My uncle who works in a shitty job that is WAY FAR back than my father's owns a Renault. My father takes care of his sister's little family, and trust me in the next few years I will see his sister in a car. My father takes care of his brother's/sister's family more than he cares of us. He bought them a PC after a SINGLE request, and WE for years never had the opportunity to touch material like proper cellphones. His false promises will never end. I don't know why is this happening to us.. what is wrong with my life?

Your father is a great man.
I know how you feel, all your friends got those nice things while you're sitting in the 'dark' and not because you don't have money, but cause of your father's stubbornes. And that hurts even more.

But maybe your father wants you to be a realistic boy, to develop you in a normal way, not making you a incaipable plant infront of a monitor, to have more real friends  then virtual friends,  unlike most other kids, to play more outdoors then infront of your gamging console...In the next 2-3 years, all of your friends will drop their gaming console and try moving into the real life, going clubbing, parties, girls, and everything that goes with it, and you'll have a start advantage cause you didn't spend your time infront of a monitor like them.

He buys those things to his syster family, but those are not his children and no matter how much he loves them, they'll gonna get spoiled and lazy, while you'll have all this suffering behind you, and develop into a nice young fellow full of life.


And if you really want one of those gadges so much like a new cellphone, have you considered working during summers? I mean I dont know how old are you, but everything above 14 is more then enough for a small part time job that you gonna learn a lot from it, and get enough cash to buy what ever you want.

Dude, you play on SAMP. Why would you want PS1 anyhow? I mean your PC can already games as high requirements as San Andreas and that's a lot of games. So why would you want PS1 just so you could hold a gamepad?

As long as you got the PC that you already have and a decent internet connection, all your entertainment needs are well met and even greater than required. If you want PS1 games, I think theres emulators for that,don't know haven't tried.

I'm sure when i was at that age i had no phone, no PS2. I had friends who supported me and a yard who i used to play football all day. I got my first phone at age of 15. So it ain't a big deal.

It was sad until this reply. I'm 18, still got no PS2, I didn't had a phone until I turned 15 or 16. But my first phone was a Sony Ericsson greenheart, and current one is a Xperia. Most of my friends got their phones before me, but today I own a phone which their phones combined can't match up, neither in price, nor in features.

Same goes for the car, most of my friends started driving 3 years ago, I just got my license and planning to buy a Renault as my first car.

You shouldn't care about a PS or a mobile phone..what can you do with a mobile phone at your age, except playing Snake all day? It will most likely ruin your health while your body is still being developed due to the radiation caused by it.

Another thing is that you can easily get addicted to those things - even PC if you ask me, and you have to learn how to control it, otherwise you'll get addicted to the internet, phones, gaming and you'll miss the best time of your life.

I'd change all that for loyal and supporting friends. Go out with them, play football or any other sport you want, go to the beach, meet new people, have fun while you're still young..trust me.
