Metagaming - Mixing the knowledge of OOC into IC. The most known kind of Metagaming is looking at the players nametag and using it ICly for your own advantage.

Powergaming has two meanings and both are equal considered bad. The first one is roleplaying actions that are not humanly possible. The second is roleplaying unfair, not letting other parties that are participating to the roleplay scenario, a chance to roleplay their part of the roleplay.


Nice shitty job you did there, encouraging people to fail joining roleplay servers. Just shows how arrogant Argonath really is.

If you shoot while the other person is typing a reply, that means you are failing at roleplay.
If you take out a gun and are ready to shoot, it should already be clear no typing could save the person you are preparing to shoot.

which proves the /me is just not needed....as by the time he reads it he is killed.

/gunpoint 1 - Your "victim" is in gunpoint and should realise the gun will be used.
You explain via any chat (/w /l /s) that you will shoot him because of a specific reason.

You don't need to write /me unholsters the gun and blablablabla... It can all be done via animations and texts.

Sooo true. Had a couple of rp's which did NOT end up in a dm fiesta, but those persons which wont end up the rp with dm is those that catchs the meaning of "RP"
