Definition of Deathmatching

As I've noticed, there lately been lots of bans and tempbans for DM, Can anyone please help me understand the new definition of the term called 'deathmatch'?

Attacking without a roleplay reason.
Attacking without to provide the roleplay reason you have to every player involved in the scene.
Attacking without to make all players involved to understand your roleplay reason.

With other words... "Hi, you killed my brother and I will kill you now" *pew pew* - Isn't roleplaying.
Interact and have some fun instead of approach, present your reason and without to check if the "victim" understand and agree to the roleplay is deathmatching.

Hmm, What if I'm a suspect, with 3 or more friends of mine, the cops chase me, they blast the car I was in, me and my friends shoot the cop. Is that a DM from my side?

Do keep in mind, I'm a suspect and I have to evade cops.

You will possibly find players are being banned/tempbanned for death-matching because they repetitively shoot at cops/provoke cops or other players to try entice shootouts, or then they go along shooting people they don't like.

Actually, Devin. It indeed is related to that. You know, I prefer to look over my mistakes and fix them, but this time, I fail to find one.

As the picture shows, I was a suspect (with one star, so yes I was suspected, by Conroy for aiding, its not like I got suspected for killing someone, thus calling it DM.)

As the second picture shows, I was already with the guys in the car, its not like I randomly popped out of nowhere to put my leg where it didn't belong.
Also the armor can be seen in the second picture, which was from earlier, so that proves I was also being fired upon by the FBI/cops. Also the cop can be seen aiming at me, in the first one.

So, I was a suspect, being fired upon, and not like I was copbaiting, or chasing after cops, I returned fired to save my life and escape after our car was blasted. How exactly is that death matching?  :roll:

My humble apologies if shooting at FBI is forbidden from now on and considered death matching.

By your description that seems rather unlikely that you deathmatched, but I have nothing to say as I was not the administration member dealing with it nor an administrator on SA:MP, and I wont question other Argonath administrators.

1. If it is the mafia HQ and all mafia members are there, cops are trying to arrest one of them, of cos, nonsense if other mafia members will stand and watch it...
In this case members of mafia group will start to shoot back, trying to help the friend... It is ok...

How to help?
In this case (if you want to shoot cops back) the main target is to get wanted level... Get him into your car and try to get rid of chase... Cops will suspect you for aiding, then aub, your dream became be a reality...

With wanted level you are allowed to help any sort of criminals with any sort of help...

Why is such rule actually?

Well, you see blue nick of cop, you know he can shoot you if you are criminal... So do cops when see a wanted level of your nick... Both sides are equal and do not confuse each other, less misunderstanding, less reports to admins...

If you are suspected with three "civilans" in a vehicle does the first rule applies from Aragorn's quote. Mafia members will not lean back and enjoy the ride if cops attack their mate in the same vehicle. Though, is it worth to get wanted because the driver is suspected for reckless driving? If you have lucky you can defend your self and clear your crime by paying a ticket instead of defend your selves from the cops who opened fire at you and gain a valid wanted level which will result in a pursuit. Consider the easiest outcome for your crew!

Object how much you wish. This is how it's. You are not allowed to attack another player direct after you had said your sentence. Make sure he is aware of your reason and involve him in the roleplay. Roleplay is created by individuals, not an individual.

I'm not the one who cannot explain properly. You said yourself killing another for getting your brother killed is not role-play, but it's a very good reason in both game and real life to commit murder if you are mentally unstable in being civil. Or a mobster. I'm not trying to tell you how you do your job bad or some shit like that, that's not my point - please, do have trouble elaborating next time what you meant as "Non-RP" reason, you are not a bad guy and always willing to help out others and you even wrote some guides over here at this subforum, try not to create confusion by leaving almost-blank statements. Hope you are not offended

now they'll tell you to send a report on samp@argonath which will be ignored, basically what this server is in a nutshell majority of times

I apologise if you didn't catched my message correct! What I meant was that you can not approach your "victim", provide the reason and shoot him instantly without giving the opposite a chance to interact with you or explain him self. You must give every player a chance to react and understand, aswell to interact.

I hope it got more clear now then the first time!

How would the person you kill know you are his relative, and are out to get him?
If he does not, you are DMing him.
Simple as that.
