Ingame reports we cannot guarantee that we can handle all reports but regarding for example the [email protected] reports we can guarantee that we do read even if you do not always get any reply..

It's often when some details are missing and i reply to the reporter that i don't even get a responds and therefor the report is being closed due to lack of information to proccess the report with...

Regarding cops getting leeway, they get as much "leeway" as anyone else on the server.. We are indeed trying to improve ways to reduce various kind of common issuse such as "abusing cops". One step was that we once upon a time introduced the copban which have been a very good tool for us to work agains those people who regularly uses the cop fashino to "dm criminals"..

If you run into someone deathmatching, you can always just "pull out your gun and start shooting" in that you can defend yourself if it's really necessary.
You just don't want to elevate the situation, especially if it's a new player, you don't want to welcome them the wrong way.

Usually worth trying to point it out to them that we're not a deathmatching server, and if you're too busy/just don't want to do that, a report can hopefully pass it over to someone in A-Team to do the job. At the end of the day, your "good intentions" or your way of getting out a problem wouldn't be much use if it got you in the firing line.
No problems would be solved if it was just a back and forth.

Cops are the same has criminals, they are players, there for they should be punished the same way, Cop Ban is just a special treatment that players on cop duty have to prevent them from getting ''Real punishement''.
