I'm with Zaila on this. Though I use them equally (MSN more sometimes), I think it's a great move from Microsoft. MSN is seriously stuck in the dark ages anyway with its out-dated interface and '90s feel.

Cool, 1 person decides the choice of a total of more than 7 million people. Sorry, your statement is false.

I barely use MSN now.. Skype does the job very well. I hope they also bring some of the MSN features to skype.

In any case, face it - skype is more flexible, techincally and in design it looks and works a lot better than MSN, not to say that its interface is a lot more user-friendly than MSN.

I don't know how Skype is, might want to try it out. They should have 2 programs in one, like SkyMSN

bullshit

Your right, that it bullshit.

Though, some people use both ( like me ).

At least Skype has many features that WLM has.

Just games I think is missing ( ? )

The most important part is interacting with others and meeting people from around the world.

Really love this move, I personally use Skype more than MSN, since I created MSN just to chat with a few peeps. ;)

90% of the people I know here in Europe prefer MSN. I personally use both, but also prefer MSN because of its clarity. When I want a contact, I can see all of my contacts that are online in MSN, without scrolling through a huge list or having to use a search bar. Skype doesn't have that. Overall, Skype just seems way too complicated and unlogical, just like Windows 8, by the way.

Anyways, the best of both worlds is what we currently have, and I don't see why it had to change. This is a pain in the ass for a lot of people, including myself.

rip msn

Great move. Skype is so much better for chatting than MSN, especially for groups (e.g. if someone isn't online, they get all the old messages when they log on, unlike MSN groups).

I rarely use MSN anyway, so doesn't affect me.
Fake ass British person talking crap! ;)

MSN > Skype, failure move.

DENIED

Wrong

In skype, all contacts that are online, are always at the top of the list, you perhaps havent tried the newest versions?
