It has nothing to do with it. As I said before, California has the strictest gun laws in the country, so arguing that they aren't strict enough, or are too strict, would be completely redundant to the news article itself, and is still an off-topic political discussion.

They arnt strict enough at all though.. In the UK you can't really own a gun at all, and if you do police will HAVE to come to your house every 2 weeks to make sure it's under lock and key, they also need to know the amount of ammunition you have and such, would by why theres so little gun crime in the UK, so your argument that California's gun laws work is wrong. :poke:

Check the ending of the first post. I gave some links to some updated news articles there regarding what happened after. Long story short, though, the gunman was taken to the hospital where he later died, and the hostages were all okay after the incident.
