Yeah, been playing since the early release of the mod, kinda retired now though.

I would start to play it again if there would be Argonath server and only players from this community.

And yeah, if there is going to be a server of DayZ we should wait for the standalone.

I agree on hackers but then private hive are much more safe and hacked very less compared to the public once as what i have heard + there are global bans for them too in which the whole key of the game is banned from joining...
But from my view hackers will come and go no matter what we do but our love for community is what makes us strong and will always keep it ever growing...

The developers might be drowning in cash yes, but the community is ruined. All these kids who don't even know what ARMA II actually is buys the game for DAY Z, comes into a regular server, which, besides, are very few left, and starts doing shit, crashing planes and asking regular players to babysit him because he doesnt know anything about the game. After DAY Z release the game has been filled with hackers , cheaters and newbies that come into a multiplayer match not even completing the trainings first. You should make an RPG server for ARMA II or ARMA II operation arrowhead instead.

I remember buying Mafia 2 last year thinking an Argo server will release soon. Already finished the game and uninstalled it, even got new laptop. No info on Mafia 2 server so far.  :poke:

The reason why there is no Argonath M2MP server yet is probably because there is nothing they can develop on. The M2MP team only released the server software so people could start developing parts of their script that doesn't require ingame testing, but there is no client to actually play on yet on that server software.

They are gonna release it soon though (currently on 99.03% on their website, i've been stalking it for months now )
