I guess it is thought that changing IP addresses will stop attacks? The Argonath server is always posted to the master list - anyone can see it, no matter what the IP is. Someone needs to take "affirmative action" regarding these "attackers". They're just children, using free downloaded utilities that they installed on their PC that mommy or daddy bought them for xmas. They can be intimidated, just like everyone else.
Their #1 mission is to get ATTENTION - if they see they're not getting attention, they will go somewhere else.
Instead of cursing and whining every time a denial of service attack occurs, use reverse psychology. Laugh at it. Say things like "Ooh ooh can you teach me how to DDOS??" It will confuse the hell out of them. Most of them are homophobic, right? Blow them a kiss in the chat. It will make them realize they are not getting the response they want, and I promise you - they will get bored and go play another game. Every time someone says "Nooooo" or "F*** YOU WOKA" or anything like that, it gives these kids the thrill that they are looking for. It makes them famous. We must NOT give them that satisfaction. Let's use our heads and show them that we are much more intelligent than they are.
