The Provisional Parliament
of the United States of Argonath

MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT.

A meeting will take place on Tuesday at the same time - 14 CET.
The meeting's topics:

*The Provisional Parliament: Should the Provisional Parliament become an invite only organisation? Should we invite state heads and infulential people/community representatives into the Provisional Parliament? Should we become selective of our members?
*Should the leaders of the state have influence on the elections to the Parliament? Should they be the ones who will appoint the Parliament heads, or should it be the citizens?
*Who will be able to vote in the elections (Extended discussion)

EXTRA:
*Vice City Multiplayer Community's situation - What should we do about it? The community has been ignored for the past five months and they are not able to get their server work property. Let's rise awareness.

The form of the meeting is : PUBLIC
it will take part either in LV Courthouse or in one of the city halls, yet to be announced.

VC:MP community is especially invited to take part in the discussion.

OTHER NEWS:

The first Parliament meeting has been conducted. Results of it will be summed up and available for public soon.

A democratic parliament suggesting that it should select its members?

Please read the topic before accusing us of stuff...

This is not enforced, this is a question that will be bringed up upon the next meeting, because the discussion has led into this.
And yet, even if we select our members, there wouldn't be anything wrong about it, because we're not the actual functioning parliament which has the right to govern and so on. Let me repeat myself for the 100th time - people who are now in the Parliament will loose their status after/if the political system will satisfy Gandalf and it will become effective, these members will have to create a party and will have to compete for their status just like everyone else. The current Parliament is making the political system and trying to find more efficient ways of how it would work.

I wasn't accusing you, I was simply asking a question as a member of the public questioning what could be the future Argonath government.

In game name and roleplay name: SkyHawk / Joe Hawk
Political views?: Conservative
Your opinion about current Argonath Political system?: The active system set in place may have worked when this great nation of Argonath was founded, however as time increases and expansion continues, change is needed when an old system begins to fail and pre-existing safe guards are heavily outdated creating numerous loop holes in the way the system functions and operates on a daily basis. I am all for a unified Democratic Republic where the people of Argonath have the ability to express their own personal views on the runnings of the government through public sanctions, and unbiased public elections.

I'll most certainly try my best to do so, this coincides with my schooling I do believe, so if we could maybe hold meetings on Saturday or Sunday that would certainly help, likewise I will try to do my best! For the record, when adding me to the member list I changed my name ingame to Joe Hawk for better standards of roleplay.

Thanks,
Joe

weekdays will be very difficult if not possible to attend.

Hence why I was recommending holding meetings on the weekends, not during the actual week.

The problem with me, is do to schooling all of you guys go off of late afternoon meetings in Europe and living in America I have class around the same time you hold meetings, and then I have college athletics there after. The weekends is the only days off I have to work with.
