Server equality - Criminals / Cops.

Hello, I'm sure everyone knows me as the criminal Rafael Stracci, and the old SRU member Eric Wolfe.
I've been away from the server for a long period, and now that I'm back I've noticed some changes that consumes my f**king soul. I'm currently playing as a criminal, back into Stracci, and what I've come across is  all the major leaders of the official groups went inactive, I tried to figure out what's going wrong and apparently the difference between both the major factions (Police as in SAPD and Criminals as all the groups) is the answer.

I remember when being part of SRU, that all SAPD higher members that were not part part of SRU used to whine about SRU using buffalos and combats, everyone used to say that SRU was a DM team for that, when we simply would go after criminals that were wanted for murders or major crimes; yet, now, I see SAPD high ranks patrolling in Bullets / NRGs, using M4 drive-by against vehicles that are clearly slower than theirs, and regardless the fact if you whether do or don't have a DB'er with you. They will just DB the living shit out of your vehicle, other things I've came across is that regardless if you have a major or a minor crime you will receive the same exact treatment, which is, getting chased by 4 cruisers since they're in TS, M4 drive-by and of course, combat on your ass, regardless the fact if you're a criminal for killing someone, or for some random bullshit as speeding.

Reviewing everything this is what we come to:
Criminals have:

- Lack of communication since we're split in different groups and factions, while SWAT/FBI/SAPD share a whole channel for communication where they can organize themselves in a perfect way, basically I support a place where we could exchange information with other criminals, if you're suspect you get to communicate in a whole new chat.
- We can run in high speed vehicles.
- We use combats.
- We're not allowed to return after dying.

Cops:
- Full chat for self-organization;
- Use heavy weaponry regardless if you're inside SAPD or you're a freecop, and regardless if you're chasing a minor/major criminal, everyone gets their ass combat'ed by SAPD officers +;
- They also use vehicles as fast as criminals;
- In major situations, like in yesterday where there was a barricaded situation where SWAT was equipping freecops with armour and god knows what other weapons;
- Cops get to return if they die, even if these days they use the same weapons as us, the same type of vehicles, and they are way more numbered than criminals.


All the major players from the criminals side Antonio, Daniel, Cofiliano, Romeo, Violet, NitrOx, Flash, either quit or reduced their gaming time drastically due all the advantages that cops have.

What I'm trying to ask here is, if can we get some equal rights between criminals and cops. I know RS5 is coming out soon, but it's not coming this week nor the next one. So criminals keep getting literally DM'd by the current SAPD members with the following excuse - 'If you use combats we also can', 'if you use buffalos we also can use fast vehicles as bullet', 'if you're significantly better driver than us, we can drive-by because it's like your vehicle is faster than ours, even tho it isn't.'

Just not to mention that the whole SRU team and some criminals ended up banned for cbug and nowadays the majority of the cops do it and it feels like the a-team either fails to see it, or closes their eyes.

Even for the new players this is insane, a new player joins, they tend to attack due the lack of knowledge about the rules, they get suspected, and they usually manage to evade in the car, how will this end? Five cruisers rolling up to them, drive-by the living shit out of him, and when he tries to bunny-hop way he will end up getting sprayed by a combat? - I seriously appeal to the good sense of the community leaders to remain neutral and check what's wrong in the cop side instead of just looking at the criminals.

Before you tell us to not commit crimes, think about abuses, today I did Roleplay punching someone without doing it script-wise the cop suspected my friend, not even me and we instantly got sprayed by 3 combats. Also, you can't really enforce following the 50km inside of city boundaries, because that would be insane. Some cops nowadays don't even bother pulling you over.

And please, don't encourage players to move from this server to another just because you decide to literally DM criminals.

Explain to me how a criminal that is suspected for speeding, or for punching someone, getting sprayed by four combats, getting drive-by in a significantly slower vehicle than the cop's, is a realistic system?

If a crimminal feels abused he can always /gu and ask for an investigation.
Or if he choose to run away, of course there will be consequences

And your answer to a suspected that evaded to a pulling over, is based on drive-by with M4s and spraying with combats when he is out of the vehicle? Everything seems extremely realistic indeed. Me and the other 50 active criminals must be the wrong ones.

I even have to agree with this, I am usually a LEO (cop) but now and then I also am a Taxi-Driver, or a medic. So a few days ago, I was on medic duty, in C3, when I got suspected for reckless driving, I was slowing down my vehicle to stop it and I already got shot by 3 M4's. Its getting rather annoying that this keeps happening. I wont say I never directly shoot at a suspect that is in a slower vehicle then me, but most of the time that person is either suspected for murder or shooting. I have to agree, it sometimes can and will get annoying.

I said that if a suspect choose to run away there will be consequences like a pursuit ends to a car accident with officer or suspect dead.
I dont support the DB on slowest vehicles or on unarmed suspects.
I dont support the police abuse on idle and unarmed suspects with pepper spray and combats.
I clearly said that Police will always have advantages more than crimminals and this will never change trust me.

Criminals do have their way to interact, it's called CB radio, RP it as a walkie talkie frequency what ever.
Heavy weapons can be bought, so there's equality.

Although this isn't regular, I have to agree with some points.

Now I have been sensing abusive use of firearms towards criminals nowadays even by SAPD staff. In my time using a buffalo was held in many regulations. Now seeing a SAPD member in a bullet is more usual than in a regular cruiser. Some of them take an ARPD officer with them to DB any vehicle, so later they can allege that "They're ARPD , they don't have DB regulations".

But oh well. It depends on the SAPD higher command to start creating in the new officers the joy of a good pursuit without firearms involved.

I produced a number of detailed ideas to make some unrealistic things, realistic.
What I see is, that the problem you've mentioned, can be solved by my ideas.

Before I begin, Argonath is not a Team DM. Cops will have advantages and cops will kill the living shit out of you, be cause you're breaking the law.
Now, I've been FBI, SAPD, and been doing cop stuff since I joined. Recently I've been doing crimes.
I'm roleplaying a poor thug, drive a tahoma and rob people while simply carrying  deagle.

Now the problem is, cops are armed like military. Combats M4 and what not. Same goes for criminals. Its fkin crazy. My idea is, increase weapon prices by 10x. It will control the guns like a charm. No criminal with crazy guns, and no cop like that either.

Another suggestion. Vehicle prices are unrealistic. Why are cars so cheap!? It takes so much cash to buy a sports car like bullet, banshee or infernus. The prices of such cars should be 500k+. A shamal should be 2M+. People should buy a sentinel, sabre or cars like these man. And every time our car blows up, the /sell car price should reduce by 5%. So if you blow up your car 16 times, it completely vanishes. People will take care of cars then. Don't take for granted.

These ideas are needed imo to fix some things and shift the server towards the roleplay side instead of the DM side. Believe it or not, I went to a DM server and you could chose class in the beginning, buy cars if you save cash, and buy guns from ammu. Main classes were cops and criminals. And it at some ocassions, looked no different than Argonath RPG. :/ 

Rafa is somewhat right. Since criminal is an official faction, maybe we can have a faction script for criminals. Only accessible to official groups and they can add/remove players. Just like cop ranks.
With faction script, maybe enable criminals to buy guns at 7x the price instead of 10x, and create a weapon dealing system. They will go sell for slightly cheaper than ammu and people will buy guns illegally. Maybe enable a special radio chat for them. Mafias use radios even in real life because it isn't the 90s anymore.
This will give the criminal factions a big advancement.


You see, in some way he's right. I see cops shooting my car until it blows up and killing a criminal on sight, with high grade military weapons. There needs to be restriction on using guns. Cops should not shoot unless the suspect shoots, simple. No driveby or no shooting unless he's shot. And cops should make sure they drive by to get the tire and make the suspect surrender, instead of shooting him continuously and blowing g up the car and then killing him. I believe such restrictions should be enforced since sometimes because of these, I can't roleplay.
