Why do you need, a mawfakking /c away scripted that freezes you, if you can goddamn alt-tab? if you are chased by cops and need to go, just crash your process so it looks like your net went off (jkin, chill) ask him kindly to continue pursuit later cause you need to go.

As long as your not in combat nor chased (like after killing the cops) you can exit the server imo... That's why wanted level stays (if you need to leave).

Leaving during combat or when you see that cops will get you in a chase is not allowed.

I know that's how it is in SA:MP, but just to clarify, does VC:MP have a written rule on your first statement? If not, one should be added because that makes plenty of sense, and has proven to work in SA:MP, (despite the fact that people sometimes abuse it, but it wouldn't be the first script players abused either :P ). If it doesn't exist as an exception to the rule, I would personally like to see it made as one because sometimes players just have to walk away, and they shouldn't be punished for something that is happening to them IRL as long as they aren't doing it to purposefully abuse.

I agree with that. I personally think it should be added to the list of rules then so people know it's there. I've been trying hard these last few years to get everyone to write down the rules they make because it's extremely frustrating to not be able to prove to someone that a known rule exists when there's nothing to show it's real.

True, but you know, rules say "Leaving while in combat" or something like that is not allowed.. I'd consider chase part of the combat since they are the most epic ones, but yeah, I think Owners/manager could add the rule to rules table in General Discussion or something :)

That makes sense, and I agree with you there. I just think it might be helpful for future reference if things like this that people are unsure of are clarified in a place that can easily be referenced so other issues don't arise, and I don't mean just this specific rule either. It's just an example of such. :)

Any "get this guy's stuff for free" option on death is something I've always opposed. VC:MP is not as unruly as SA:MP, but that is cancelled out by the fact that killing can be literally instant, unlike SA:MP.

The most important part is interacting with others and meeting people from around the world.

I like the idea, when i posted it before you started 1.9 development.
I was asking about this: If that person dies, where his cash and drugs go? vanish in air, or to the killer.

If that cash goes to killer, it may result in Heavy DM. But if it vanishes in air, it may prevent shooting. Either case, stopping DM is admin's job, not script's.


Well technically money doesn't just 'vanish', it stays on the persons body until someone takes it.
