I love motorcycles and you won't catch me on some electrical powered bag of W***. The whole point of a car/bike is the sound and feel of the damn thing and when you take it to a race track and open the throttle you get a buzz that is better than sex... Putting a battery in a car/bike is like putting a dildo up the Queen's rear end... It's just not a good idea.

lol this is human created... by Dr. Evil and he wants to destroy the world so he plants a thousand hot beans around the arctic to melt it and he pulls he earth a little towards the sun...

I know why, there are less supporters for god and more and more ppl are turning to Dr. Evil's creation, Satan, the master devil....

so the Devil is doing all this as God gets weaker and weaker..

thats my perspective :)

The only person that would be stupid enough to ride this is a dumb eco warrior...

^Yamaha R1 Lithium Ion Electric Bike.^

0-60 in under 5 secs, 90mph top speed, 75mile range.

Sure... The spec sounds impressive but it looks like a grandma after a 25 mile marathon... Not healthy and just imagine what it is like to ride... Possibly just as nice to ride as a bull on Viagra.

Jubin, the time that Wikipedia was a reliable source of information has passed. The power of having multiple people contributing has created a need for moderation. As it became moderated, the opinions of the moderators now reflect the content, and no longer can it be regarded as unbiased source.
If you look for information on the internet, be sure to look for both sides of the coin. And if a topic really interests you, go beyond the discussions and read the source books and studies. In discussions on the internet you will find quotes that are out of place or even non-existent to lead a life as truth.

Gandalf, what is truth about global warming is actually what I think about the global warming and does it fit to my inner world. Also it is better to know something even one-side opinion about the global warming( though I would like to know what is the other side) before discussing about it. And as much as I dip into  that topic in wikipedia it is quite objective.

The article on wikipedia seems objective, however is closed due to dispute.
When you dig further on the sources, for instance the average temperature, you will see that data from before 1950 and after 2000 is classified as less trustworthy, thus allowing as only reasonable conclusion that the global average temperature has risen by 0.4 degrees in 50 years time.
If you want to find correllation between the temperatire and human activity, you will have to compare this with graphs on industrialization, expelling of greenhouse gases and natural activity like vulcanoes and earthquakes over the same period of time.
If you look at the 'world map' you might find it interesting to see that while people talks about Global warming, actually most of it seems to be taking place in the Northern Hemisphere, also not in places where most industry is present, but over places that are near the Arctic. One exception is the Rainforest of South America.
Strange enough the most of global warming seems to be present at places where there is less human activity, while if this was caused by us, you might expect the opposite.

I would be interested to see a correllation between the warming in the Northern Hemisphere and a tilt of the Earth's North Pole towards the sun.

Check the map again. It is 1995-2004 projected against 1940-1980. The dark orange is the highest deviance of temperature. It has been rising mostly in Siberia and the Arctic.
A funny anomaly is the Antarctic where a rise and a fall of temperature seem to be neighbouring.

Gandalf check where has the temperature dropped a bit or raised only a little bit. In the areas where there is no industries( Pacific Ocean, South pole, excluding that anomalies, South America).

Once again look at the map. Do you think that most industries are in Alaska, Canada, Siberia ?
What about the industry in India and China that has developed a lot in this time ?
Why the West Coast of the US rise, while they have a lot of environmental laws, and the East Cost rises less, although they have less laws ?
Why did Argentina cool down, is Japan rising just a bit ?

Gandalf you are looking only the areas where the temperature is raising a lot. And also do you know that there is no industry in Siberia or Alaska? You've been there? Neither am I so it is actually pointless. We just belive that there is no industry.
