Kidnapping...
I been a victim and boy did the LS police reaspond well... I rp'd as well as I could, its a matter tho of being in the right state of mind as I have seen too may fail cos the victim is not rp'ing it (saw one guy use game crash's by the kidnappers to escape!!). Not as many as thier used to be, but doesnt help as police have little power to resolve.
The limo/taxi service...
I am likely one the few that admits he doesnt know the map very well.. I will offer lifts, but often have to get detailed directions for when near the destination. Its getting better. If a taxi or limo you really have to know the map... Thankfully most guys I now give lift to are either cops going between depts or guys about to go on duty as cops. (and yes I do look out for guys requesting lifts that I know as regular cops even while they offduty, although the fix to crashes and losing cop skins makes this less of a problem now.
Police and Crims
Many crims complain the cops are abusing, some maybe but many are working with Argonath laws, do they realise how many crims are actualy abusing the system and failling to rp?
I got told I was abusing when I failed to ask a crim to surrender and shot him with a little 9mm... the fact that he was using a machinegun on me seemed irrelevant to the crim, and that was before I had even before I had drawn the weapon.. do I sit and type /s surrender while losing my health?? or reaspond with a less than even weapon? (I still died!)
I now try and preload my recent chat with a '/s surrender' so that it takes so little to get it up, but most still dont obey.
ARPD is being restricted by its own rules and tbh the other night I went of duty cos it was down to 1 cop and 6 crims, and all had shot at me (cop ran, yep!).
Things are not helped by crims who break the law and then run like mad to the SF cathedral.
If they have a fast bike (name unknown, cannot be caught by any police vehicles including the helo) then they win unless a roadblock is setup outside the cathedral, which tbh is not rp, but then neither is running to confess instantly a crim is suspected...
Crims have it too easy, a means of getting off scot free, even got shot at one point by a guy outside SF catheral, I suspected, he ran in and confessed!, just wish I had name of the guy!!
Had another who used a bike and a boat while I was a helo unit and we must of gone round LV and Bone County 5+ times before I just gave up
We could do with the cancelsuspect back, however maybe limited to ARPD (should work once ARPD sorts itself out).. I know at the weekend I misread a id and suspected the wrong guy... I could do nothing other than say sorry..
As to gangs etc. and cops... my believe is trust, afterall thats real life!! There ARE corrupt cops out there.... Gives possibility of a new role in ARPD... an IA division... if caught corrupt then maybe a suspension of ARPD rights and thus back to a cadet level... Might actually make cops rp better, having to watch over shoulders for possible IA units...
