Another topic. Please HQ, time for a change.

As you all know I'm a long time player here, and most of you know I play in another servers aimed to more strict Roleplay, so I'm in total support of Roleplaying,

Yet, this is what happened with me today, involving Argonath High-Staff (Cyril) and some members of the Corleone Family (which I could understand the actions from them, but not from the staff).
Basically I joined the server, to find myself suspected for 'killing Kaze', I drove for two minutes around San Fierro, and lost my suspection, and according to the new rule, I'm no longer part of that Roleplay, regardless.

Someone who escapes is no longer on the run and has the obligation to leave those still in the roleplay.

It seemed strange to anyone that you first try to stay away from cops until suspect is removed, and then decide to get back in to action. This lead to the current situation. As this was already present in RS3 and RS4 nobody should tell it is in any way a new rule.

Keep in mind it's not a case of "Lose suspection > instantly jump out of the car", it's more like remove yourself from the situation when you get the chance to - you find another car or there is a way for you to get away from the current roleplay situation.

If you are there the whole situation, so from the start, you can assist your 'ally'. Yet, your MAIN goal as a suspect is to escape. So if you have done that. You have to leave.
So what do you want, the script to keep you suspected until everyone around you has 1 second left on their wanted timer and then have everyone escape at the same time?

So I'm sure what I'm writing next has nothing to do with that killing, since I was already cleared of the Roleplay situation.

Anyway, as soon as I lost my wanted status, I decided to partake an event brought us by Traser, I even whispered the man saying I was going.
The event was about finding a brief case that was close to his location. I was literally next to him, to when Corleones plus Cyril, yes, the manager, came to me with the random excuse 'PULL OVER, STOP.' - I stopped my vehicle to instantly get my tyres shot - 'GET OUT OF THE VEHICLE, NOW', they shouted with their mighty King Kong attitude; with surprise I replied 'Stop I'm doing th event'  and moved foward a little bit to get my vehicle shot by everyone - So, once more I said 'leave me alone and come later, piss off, i'm doing the event'; Consequently due to theshooting, the car exploded, I got out to once again ask them to come after the event, and started to run in Traser direction or what not. To get shot down by all of them including Cyril, yes, lets not forget our rule enforcer was partaking this. So after so many failed attempts to stop this crazyness, I shot them when my Health Pool was bellow 35%.

As soon as they came and after I ask them to return after the event is over, I also reported it, that report was took by TeaM Arslan, when I asked him, he said he couldn't do anything because Cyril is higher than him.

Honorable mentions:
-Everyone knows I support RP, hence playing in strict RP servers.

-Everyone knows I support admins not taking so much actions in criminal RP, unless shooting without a reason is involved, so yes, if shooting is happening and a report follows if the admin is going to die I do support a freeze until the situation is clarified.

There's a simple solution to all of this.
Admins focus on the major rulebreaks; Hacking as an example, and whenever there's a sudden cry for help in /report, before bothering both sides, check if there's any DM listed on the chatlogs, and if there is, engage a conversation with the players to see why did he kill him. Spectate first to see if there's shooting going on so you can instantly freeze them, and ask your questions, just don't do anything if when you spectate only Roleplay is happening.

- The admin who took the report didn't do anything because a higher staff member was higher than him, so he could not act.

- Half of the server or more - According to Traser- was at Willowfield doing that event.

So like I said, even after all those questions, I didn't get a straight answer, I also confirmed with Murt, and he said this should be concidered DM.
Also with CBF, at first he said it depended, thinking they were cops, when I told them it was civilians he said that this was not allowed, when I told him it was Cyril, his whole speech changed, hello?

So my question is, what is he doing in the HQ still when he contradicts himself, and does what admins tell us players to not do it?

The only thing that I have to go against is the one about the casinos, sure you can claim its your territory when you don't own it, but you can not go around killing players for not leaving the casino even if you claim its your territory unless you actually own the property.

I'm also sure a lot around this forums, there are plenty of people who also said that regarding killing players who don't leave their car when asked to.

If you want gandalf's reply then it'd be best to send an email to [email protected].
Constantly making topics like these tend to derail due to arguments brought forth by other players giving only more pressure that might not even be related to the original situation.

Not to mention that you can report staff members using the fuction on the forum, for the situation you've provided: you can bring that up using the function for instance. It would save a mass of arguments or attacks to other players/staff members.

That is just my opinion though, past few days i've seen three topics (including this one) which ended up becoming +7 pages long in mere hours having a different topic in surprisingly the same global subject.

Not to be offensive either.

If you wanted to have this forwarded to only HQ you shouldn't have made a public post, public post means everyone can comment about the subject.
I do agree how ever that an event should not over rule role play, as Monte stated.
As for you being killed by Cyril, if you think he DMed you, report him at the report function and Devin will handle it.
