Well in my house sometimes dunno if its 1guy but he or they come in my garden(my garden is big) and here its diff we have big thick walls then gardens then door to enter the house but my father called people to put metal around the house and glass( hte metal with wires like in army or something) but mym other saw him then i went near him but the doors were locked and said fuck your family go fuck them you asshole sorry for the flames i said. But i really wish he goes to prison :S . and a funny thing is i put glass i saw blood the next morning and he robs with no shoes his naked leg lol.!!!! He got owned i saw blood!

If I start robbing a house and some guy gets out screaming with a flashlight ... You know, he could have knocked you out with a kick or something, your action was not that smart. If I notice such thing, I would just watch trought that hole of the door when he opens it, and when he does, I am going to give him a good kick in the head, so he won't know his name even anymore...

In my country shit like that happens every day. My apartment got robbed already once, while we were on vacation with my parents. Second time they tried to rob it, but I was home and they failed.. (Here they just use the phone and pretend they are from the phone company to see if there is someone home, but my phone can show numbers and I saw they were calling from a mobile).

I can understand what you did, because in such moments you are quite bothered of what might happen and how much the guys can be, also with what weapons... You did good, if you managed to scare the guy away, but next time think twice and be ready for such things

Really,your action is not that smart.If i were you,i'd bang door 1-2 times with hand/leg to frighten him away,then on the door-eye(The thingie,which you see throught the doors) i spectated after his actions,if he continues doing it, just call the police.If he came in the apartament........it depends on situation....but better wait for police,and lock him within the apartement somehow.

In Slovakia when you attack someone NOT from your family on your prop, when the guy was on your prop then you just have to pay a fine, i guess it is legal to beat the robber and give him to cops.
