Laptops should never overheat unless they are overclocked.
a company would never design a laptop that way.
the biggest players in the overheating could be-
- Dust collection (easily cleaned out with a strong blower, or even a q-tip
- in direct sunlight
- overclocking
- putting the laptop on soft surfaces, such as a bed, which can block the vents
overclocking symptoms are immediate shutdown, and a Blue screen is very rare.
games crashing, etc etc are not a result of overheating.
