As mentioned by yes SugarD, those will be different awards as they will be unofficial and run by the players themselves. Won't be even called  Oscar awards nor Nobel Prizes, but rather something different like Community Awards 2011 or smth. Although I still think getting it done as an unofficial thing is still better than no awards at all.

Well the real question is if we are even allowed to do such since Aragorn said ALL awards. I'll see if I can catch Gandalf on MSN and see what he has to say about it. The last thing I want is to cause another problem when all we want to do is have a little fun.

I think they will allow this to us, but using the name 'Citizens voted Awards 2011' or something like that...

Well the reason why Aragorn stepped in and changed them was because of the issues that arose. Originally things like the Nobels, Oscars, etc. weren't official either, but became official over time. If we remake the old version of these awards with a new name, that defeats the whole purpose behind why he changed them to begin with.

That doesn't change anything for what he has done with the Official Awards not the ones we are thinking of doing. Again you are trying to mix up players organized and Government one.

I'm not mixing anything up. If we recreate the same awards that were purposely changed by the Server Owners due to issues they didn't like arising, we are going against them.

They didnt like arise during their awards. If those arise when we recreate it, it will be our problem and they have nothing to do with it now do they?

Like I said, if you are recreating the same awards that the Server Owners purposely changed because they didn't like the way they worked, that would be going against them.

If you are talking about a completely different awarding system that doesn't recreate the previous ones, that would be a different story altogether.

That doesn't matter. If you recreate the same awards that were purposely changed, that is just remaking something the Server Owners already said is not allowed.
