Scamming a new player is a STRAIGHT BAN in SA:MP. I don't know where you're hearing all of this shit about SA:MP admins not kicking it up for new players, but wherever you heard it or whoever you heard it from, are full of shit.

It is? Then I'm glad to hear that. Thanks for the info.

"New players might not yet know all rules."

well, that's what the rules screen is for on login ... its just unfair that they get a second chance if they don't read the rules on login/register
Seriously...
Most of them just press "OK" and keep playing. They may read it all, but I doubt they'd really remember.
Our mission is to help them understanding all rules - remember, most of them doesn't even understand english correctly.

Just me and myself..

1. Those who say "Argonath is a freeroam server" - have no idea what is Freeroam...

Freeroam style accepts all types of game mode: DM, RPG, Stunt, etc ("do whatever you want")

Argonath does NOT accept Deathmatch... This statement is in rules, in admins laws and this is exactly why you report "dminger"...
So its funny how you report a "dminger" and the same time accuse Argonath being a freefoam mode server, cos in that case you are not logical either in reporting (why moan about dmer if it is freeroam?) or in accusations (why say its freeroam, if you know it is not?)... As admins have the clear law to punish the deathmatch there stays only two reasons - fake accusations against Argonath RPG or lack of knowledges what is freeroam?... If lack of knowledges, then why arguing and accuse?

I hope you did not include my post on there, because what I meant with "an little bit of freeroam" is the fact that you do not have to be an ZOMG irl rpg player. What I meant was there is more freedom on the RP. I have never accepted deathmatching and never will.

"As for second example... if the regular is frozen he can not be killed. Stop fake accusations."

no i meant that regular gets frozen...
andTHEN  (after unfreeze)  new player kills regular
and regular gets blamed for DM

i personally have been frozen for someone beating me up and i try to stop them before i die

Bullshit... If admin unfreezes player, he is in the scene of it, and he will not let the guy who attacked you after you being unfrozen to go unpunished... There was no any case with such thing...

You found paradise in Argonath. You had a good game, you made good friends. The admins protected you and there were courts of law. So you didn't need a friend like me. Now you come and say "Aragorn, give me justice." But you don't ask with respect.

You, me, all were new player before.. did we really pay attention to rules our first login (all be honest) - no. For many reasons, a likely one is the person just wants to try the server to see if its something they enjoy - for instance, lets say a Server called 'Best Server ever!', there are MANY words just to read in the rules, including sometimes things like the boxes having many words, what if the player ends up not liking the server? He wastes so much time trying to understand rules and didn't even like the server... now back to the topic of new players 'getting off easy' - Whats the problem with that? New players, EVEN if they read the rules 1000 times, they might not understand it, like, how do they know what 'deathmatch' or something like 'powergame' if they never heard the term before, reading it a 1000 times does not help understand the word. For example... i was teaching new player once, about 15-20 minutes into the server, i am driving him around showing him things, he pulls gun and goes to DB position in car, and shoots someone saying 'DIE MOTHERFUCKER!!!'... I told him thats not allowed and he said 'sorry i wasn't sure what it meant', refering to deathmatching.

i can read "RPG"   meaning role play game

which is in the server name... its not Argonath Kill'em'all  or something

Not everyone knows what RPG stands for.

Clearly, you seem to think that new players should understand everything as soon as they press connect.
Yes it's not "Argonath Kill'em'all". Does "Argonath RPG" instantly tell any new player that "Oh this is an roleplay server, and you do this and that".
Don't bullshit, how can possible an newly registered player tell all the OFFICIAL (Does not include OOC IC or other self-invented server rules) rules by looking at the name?

I have been frozen on stunt server for example, the attacking player got punished.
But back on your statement.

Dan, if I throw an word or term at you that you do not know, are you able to instantly tell what it is?
The answer will likely be "no".

You cannot in hell know an term or word or something of knowledge if you have never learned of what it is. Impossible.
Some players who register might know what it is. But the majority of them will likely not know what it is.

I can assure you, I did not know what "RPG" meant the first time I logged in on an certain mta:vc server back in 2005. And I assure you many do not know ethier.

Also, another statement you did earlier:

"Unfair they get an second chance".

In an game, you usually get second chances. And don't bullshit and tell something flawed such as: "Well if they die IRL they don't really get an second chance". Since there's an big difference between an game and IRL.

More is expected from the regular player WHO knows the rules and understand them, really. Is it even logical to "ZOMG HE BROKE AN RULE INSTAKICK!" on an new player?

I suggsest you think this trough, if you still insist on your babysitting bullshit "Omg it's so unfair", then I do dearly hope you never reach an admin position or something with such an responsibility unless you are willing to understand and accept the fact that people cannot know everything.

P.S Regulars do also get second chances depending on situation D.S

Did you not understand what i said? I stated that new players may not understand the rules or meaning to be on the server or what to do when they first join... why do you have such a bone to pick with new players?

Dan, if the server was what you want it to be, according to what I have read from your posts:

- More than half the server won't be here today, from regulars up to some senior admins... and where will they be? Banned simply because admins team did not tolerate new players.

- Argonath won't be the successful community it is today. Why? Because of such closed-minded rules. New players are not expected to act professionally immediately, they are here to learn. Admins already know how to take care of them if they don't.

- Admins are here to teach new players as well, other than enforcing server rules. We are not an anti-newplayer task force, our purpose is in fact the opposite... as stated above, we also take care of those who refuse to be guided.

So stop using a closed-minded mentality on new players... in fact, you are a new player compared to the veterans in this community. How will you feel if all of us did the same thing to you?

The most important part is interacting with others and meeting people from around the world.

did you just ask how i would feel if you let me off for driveby as driver and deathmatching??

i feel left out lol :D

but anyways... my point is new players need some kind of rule/teaching segment when they start like i said earlier, maybe put the /rules up on login, or just "Do not shoot players without a reason"

New players need a friendly welcome... Not a rule putting in their nose before they made a step...

You can do it by yourself...
"newplayer085 has just registred". You go there and help him, learn them how to use local commands, to buy clothes... Then when they're almost familiarized with Argonath, you explain him the rules...etc.
Be honest, if you're new to SA:MP, connect a server and they wont let you play until you've read and understood all their rules, would you read all those rules...or would you /q and find a more simple server?

If it wasn't Akselbaba doing the procedure above^. I'd probably be not playing here today...

Just me and myself..

yea but it is mixed in with the rules/chat  i mean have it as a big message, in the corner of the screen or a help window (same type of window as tutorials on Single Player)
